The PCA3 Report

Metamark delivers your patient’s PCA3 test results within 5 business days of sample receipt. 

 

The PCA3 report is designed to be easy to understand and discuss with your patient, helping to determine the appropriate next steps in his path of care.

Your patient’s test score is plotted on a “thermometer”. 

• The lower the score within the green (under 25), the less likely that he may need a repeat prostate biopsy.
• The higher the score within the red (above 25), the more likely that a repeat prostate biopsy may be the right choice in monitoring his individual treatment path.
