PCA3 Guidelines

• Indicated for use in conjunction with other patient information to aid in the decision for repeat biopsy in men age 50 or older who have had one or more previous negative prostate biopsies and for whom a repeat biopsy would be recommended by a urologist based on current standard of care, before consideration of PROGENSA PCA3 Assay results.
• To be an appropriate candidate for PCA3, each patient must:
  • Have had a previous negative biopsy – more than 3 months ago but less than 7 years ago
  • Have NOT had a diagnosis of ASAP in his most recent biopsy
